스탠포드 대학교는 학교에 통일된 시설을 제공하는 새로운 시설인 mcmurtry 빌딩을 열었다.
딜러 스코피디오 + 렌프로에 의해 디자인된, 10만 평방피트의 공간에는 이 기관의 미술사학과와 건축 전문 도서관이 추가되어 있다.
8700만 달러 규모의 이 빌딩은 캠퍼스 입구에 생겨나는 스탠포드 예술 지구에 새롭게 추가된 건물로, 많은 진입로들이 비공식적인 참여를
장려하고 있다. 다공성 및 매혹적인 디자인은 협업, 교환 및 교차 결합을 위한 전례 없는 기회를 창출하기 위한 것이다.
